This shows ways to make recipes from China, Japan and Korea. However, most recipes are deep-fried and complicated. I am sure delicious, but if you are like me, not wanting the risk of your house catching on fire...
So, I picked out 2 recipes that are easy and tasty. You also have probably heard of them all ready but did not have the recipe. This cook book can be loaned from your local library.
Tea Leaf Eggs require 10 eggs, soy sauce, aniseed, cinnamon sticks, black tea leaves, sugar and salt. Very simple and makes 8 servings.
Then...you guessed it! Egg Drop Soup. All it takes is chicken broth, cornstarch, egg and onion. Voila!
This recipe makes 4 servings.
As mentioned above, there are a ton of good recipes in this cook book, but the ones I chose are the most simple.
Check it out and make Xerox copies for your personal collection of recipes soon!
