The problem that I do have with this cookbook is that although it claims to be about no-bake, it is not. I was able to find two (2) that are actually no-bake.
In the United States, there is a state known as Ohio, known for it's
buckeyes (a candy named for its resemplance to the nut of the Ohio buckeye treat).
On page 80 is the recipe for Crunchy Cashew Buckeyes. On page 81 is the recipe for Crunchy Peanut Butter Buckeyes.
The Crunchy Cashew Buckeyes have really neat ingredients, such as cream cheese, puffed rice cereal, chocolate and of course, cashews. Very yummy!
The more traditional Crunchy Peanut Butter Buckeyes calls for either crunchy or creamy peanut butter, butter, sugar, vanilla and a few others.
Instead of buying this book, I would advise to loan it from your local library. Although the cookbook contains delicious recipes, if you are looking for a no-cooking method, there are really only two (2) recipes. Buckeyes, although are a wonderful treat, you could very easily look them up on-line.
