In Fast and Easy by JoAnna M. Lund, her philosophy is "If it takes longer to cook it then to eat it, forget it"!
She goes on to say that you should "streamline" not just your body but also your workspace in the kitchen. This will make stirring up healthy recipes a breeze!
For cheap and easy, grab a circular and meal plan for the week around it. Shop for the ingredients you need for three or four main dishes, a couple of salads, a few vegetable side dishes and atleast two or three desserts.
For recipes that freeze good, there is a symbol of a snowflake to freeze your own personal TV dinners.
Out of all the recipes, I thought September Song Fruit Salad, Paradise Pineapple Salad and Peaches-and-More Salad were the best salads. I thought Italian Vegetable Platter was the best meal although the cookbook calls it an appetizer. Then, Refreshing Cranberry Floats were the best drink.
