In Fix-It and Forget-It Kids' Cookbook, by Phyllis Pellman Good, she suggests allowing your kids to cook with a crockpot!
Consider taking the child along grocery shopping. This will enlarge their understanding of the whole food process. Invite the child to prepare a dish or two for a gathering.
As always, I like to choose favorites to share with you...
For breakfast, Cheesy Egg and Broccoli Casserole is a winner.
For lunch, Big Juicy Burgers is yummy and does not require browning the beef in a skillet.
For snack, Pizza Dip is a super winner.
For dinner, Pizza in a Bowl is a toss-up between pasta and pizza. Then, there are Party Meatball Subs with a simple 5 ingredients. Following is Lip-Smacking Lasagna, teaching to brown the beef in a microwave.
Finally, for dessert, there is Fruit-Filled Cake AKA: Dump Cake. All one has to do is dump in pie filling, crushed pineapple, cake mix and butter!
