In All You Magazine, dated December 2015, I found an interesting inexpensive (but full of love) homemade Christmas present idea and ways to streamline your holiday cookies.

On page 50, there is a "dip trio appetizer kit" to make for gift-giving that is in a jar. Very cute, inexpensive and tasty! There are three examples with instructions...southwest chipotle, zesty marinara and bacon, onion & cheddar. Each recipe has most of the required ingredients in it's jar but an attached gift tag is needed for the recipient to mix in a certain ingredient or two. Label the jars, fill the jars, attach gift card, then place in a box with some crackers. Voila!

Then, on page 70, there is a recipe for cookie dough to take away the stress of making different cookie dough for different cookies. There are three variations of ways to use the one cookie dough. You can customize! First, there is bourbon, cranberry and walnut to mix in. Second, rocky road to mix in. Third, caramel popcorn. Just use the three variations with the same dough to make yourself a little cookie station in your kitchen! Easy to use for planning parties, cookie swaps or gifts!!!!!
