In the First For Women Magazine, November 9, 2015 issue, I found tiny gems that you would really have to look close for to find.

magazine cover

Want to save money on deep-conditioning? Mix 1/2 cup of yogurt with 2 Tbs. honey and massage into wet hair for 3 minutes then rinse. Nourishes and strengthens making softness and shine.

Store bras on a hanger to keep them in shape while saving space in your dresser drawer!

Big perk of the day? Weigh yourself daily, according to the Journal of Obesity. When you detect sneaky regain early, slimming adjustments may be made. Tracking can boost your motivation to eat healthy and get active.

Pasta for plants? No you are not imagining things... Everytime you cook pasta, drain the unsalted pasta water into a bowl and let cool. Then, use it to water your plants! Starch in the water speeds the growth of bacteria in plants' roots.

Hate cleaning the slow-cooker (crockpot)? Fill the pot up with warm water and drop in 3 to 4 denture tablets! The effervescence fizzes away the grime the same way it tackles a set of dentures!

I hope you find these little gems useful. Sometimes you have to really look behind some of the major stories to find what is really real and useful.
