In the Woman's World April 11, 2016 issue, I have found a really neat party idea.
On page 23, an article describes how to have a "swap" party. One may eliminate clutter the stress-free way.
First, pick what you want to swap. Clothes? Jewelry? Books? Perfume? Any or everything. Ask each person to bring 5 to 15 items.
Turn your living room into a boutique. Have bags ready. If you have many books and have a small bookshelf, place on display.
Set aside about 20 minutes for cocktails or mocktails and mingle.
Finally, swap! Tell everyone to take their time. Swappers may choose as many items as they had brought. Anything left should go toward charilty.
This idea is frugal and impressive. Think of the money you'll save, clutter you'll eliminate and the "new" items you'll bring home!
