In the Woman's World December 7, 2015 issue learn how to calm itchy skin, shop responsibly and learn new recipes for hot cocoa!
First, to calm itchy skin, simply grind a cup of oatmeal and place in your bath water. Then, soak for 10 minutes. It contains potassium and magnesium which are calming minerals.
Next, do you use shopping as retail therapy? When you buy an item, pick one article clothing that you already own and donate to charity. This is definitely a good deed and prevents clutter.
Finally, on page 44, there are 3 recipes for hot cocoa that sound so delicious. Included are coconut hot cocoa to prevent colds, peppermint bark hot cocoa to protect your heart and snickerdoodle hot cocoa to beat joint pain. Included is a recipe for homemade whipped cream. You might want marshmellows and/or candy canes to top the hot cocoa off.
These tidbits do not have to be solely for winter. The sun dries skin, people shop and hot cocoa may be drank all year-round (Maybe during the summer, add ice to the cocoa? Yum.) Voila!
