In the January 4, 2016 issue of Woman's World, there are a couple of "pamper me" articles...The articles are there for your wanting to keep those New Year resolutions!
Do you crave junk food? Eat a tablespoon of peanut butter! In a study, of those who do this, average 333 fewer calorie consumption than those who don't.
Have no motiviation to exercise? Suck on a peppermint candy! The scent stimulates nerves in the brain responsible for alertness.
Need even more energy? Drink coffee! It increases oxygen intake and fights fatigue so that your workout is even more effective.
Was your resolution "not to get your hair cut"? Use a cinnamon hair mask to rev up that hair growth! Add 1 egg, 2 tbs. coconut oil and 1 tsp ground cinnamon to a bowl and stir. Massage into scalp and through-out towel-dried hair. Cover with shower cap and wait 20 minutes. Shampoo and condition. Repeat every other week.
Long day on your feet? Pamper yourself with a cinnamon foot soak! After all, on your feet exercising, as part of a resolution... Seep 4 peppermint tea bags in 4 cups hot water for 5 minutes. Discard and let cool to room temperature. Add to bowl with 2 tbs. ground cinnamon. Place feet into mixture and soak for 10 minutes. Pat dry, smooth with your favorite lotion and use socks.
Personally, I found this Woman's World issue to be one of my favorites!
