This recipe is good for a weekend and/or special event "brunch". The mixture of ingredients are so different that it really is a "surprise".



Mushroom Surprise


The ingredients (use as much or as little as to your liking) include:

2 cans of mushrooms
6 russet potatoes, thinly sliced
8 hot dogs, cut into bite-size pieces
2 cans cream of mushroom soup

The directions are:

Layer the potatoes, hot dogs and mushrooms in a well-greased baking dish.

Pour soup all over.

Bake at 176.67 degrees Celsius for 1 hour.

Serve!

I personally find that the mushrooms and cream of mushroom soup make the recipe delicious. The potatoes make it filling. The hot dogs a fun treat.
