Salamanca Markets in Hobart, Tasmania runs every Saturday in Salamanca Place. There you will find local goods, from hand bags to finely crafted candles.

I have visited Salamanca Markets many times, the atmosphere is amazing and vibrant. The fashion stalls are awesome, rainbow anything, intricate designs, dresses to hats.

Some of the goods are under $20 but a lot of them will be around $50. You will also find the regulars, one man in particular who has weird and wonderful creations, who will recite poetry every Saturday at his stall.

Salamanca is the place to be in Hobart on a Saturday.
